How to Create a Reference Page

Step 1
- Determine if the page should be another type of page, and use those instructions:
- Person Page - If the page is about a person
- Segment Page - If the page is about a show segment
- If the page is not one of the above pages move on to step 2
Step 2
- Create a page with the name of the reference: There are three ways to do this, follow the link for details
- Do not put a colon ":" in the page name
- Copy the contents of this page: reference-template to the new page
- Title the page with the name of the reference
Step 3 - Description
- Write a brief one-line description of the reference
Step 4 - History
- Provide a brief history of the reference
- If the reference does not have a history, or you cannot provide one, tag the episode with:
need-history
Step 5 - Episode List
- Change "REF-TAG" to the tag on the episode page for this episode
- A list of current reference tags exists here: tags-references
- Add the reference tag for this reference to the tags-references page
Step 6 - Links
- Under "See also" link to any openargswiki page relating to this page
- Under "Links" link to any external page relating to this page
Step 7 - Add Tags
- Always add the tags

- Remember to add any of the tags from above for missed content:

Step 8 - Populate Lists
- Use Wikidot's search function to look up the name of the reference or variations thereof
