Creating a Reference page

When creating a page about a reference, please:

  • tag the page with ref
  • tag the page with ref-clean-up
Finished pages must match this page
Pages need to be brought up to template

These pages are tagged "ref-clean-up"
These pages to be upgraded with: reference-template
Remove the tag when finished and add the "ref-check-content" tag for final check

Content check

These pages need to be checked for missing content.
Tag with "info-missing", "source-missing" or "video-missing" as required (removed "check-content" tag when adding other tags.
If page has no missing content remove the "ref-check-content" tag and add "seg-ref-proof"

Pages need to be proof-read

These pages are tagged "ref-proof"
Remove the tag when finished and add the "finished" tag


  • For reference pages that are also segments, see segments
  • Reference pages that are also people will be looked at with people at a later time.
  • If you feel a "reference only" item is also a segment, do the following:
    • Add the tag seg.
    • Change the tag ref-clean-up to seg-ref-clean-up.
  • If you feel something is incorrectly tagged a segment (other than the above) add the tag wrong-tag and leave a comment explaining why at project:projects.
