How to Create a Segment Page

Step 1
- Create a page with the name of the segment: There are three ways to do this, follow the link for details
- Do not put a colon ":" in the page name
- Copy the contents of this page: segment-template to the new page
- Title the page with the name of the segment
Step 2 - Description
- Write a brief description of the segment
Step 3 - Intro
- Try to find out the sources for the introduction for this segment
- If you cannot find the sources add the tag:
source-missing
- Try to find a video for the source of the introduction for this segment
- If you cannot find a video for the source of the introduction, add the tag:
video-missing
- If you find find a video for the introduction hit the </> button above and place the embedding code in the space provided
Step 4 - History
- Provide a brief history of the segment
- If the segment does not have a history, or you cannot provide one, tag the episode with:
need-history
Step 5 - Major References
- Link to the openargswiki page for any references connected to the segment
- If there are no references connected to the segment, tag the episode with:
need-major-ref
Step 6 - Episode List
- Change "SEGMENT-TAG" to the tag on the episode page for this episode
- A list of current segment tags exists here: tags-segments
- Add the segment tag for this segment to the tags-segments page
Step 7 - References
- If this is segment is not also used as a reference, skip to step 8
- Change "REF-TAG" to the tag on the episode page for this episode
- A list of current reference tags exists here: tags-references
- Add the new tag to the tags-references page
- Add the tag:

Step 8 - Links
- Under "See also" link to any openargswiki page relating to this page
- Under "Links" link to any external page relating to this page
Step 9 - Add Tags
- Always add the tags

- If the segment is used as a reference and you have not already done so, add the tag:

- Remember to add any of the tags from above for missed content:

Step 10 - Populate Lists
- Use Wikidot's search function to look up the name of the segment or variations thereof
- Tag Episode pages found with the appropriate tag:
- tags-segments if the segment is listed in the times (as created in step 6)
- tags-references if the segment is listed as a reference (as created in step 7)
